Water-mill ruins

When I arrived to Newfoundland in 1961, there were many such ruins. Unfortunately when the Trans Canada Highway was built, this ruin was bulldozed away. There is a prize to pay for progress and indifference. These picturesque historic object today exist only on photographs and in memories of old people.

Vizimalom romok

Amikor 1961-ben megérkeztem Newfoundlandba, több ilyen romokat lehetett látni. Sajnos amikor az egész Kanadán átmenõ müutat épitették ezen a helyen vezették át az uj utat. A fejlõdésnek és a nemtörödömségnek lett az áldozata ez és még sok hasonló rom. Ezek ma már csak fényképeken láthatók és az öregek emlékében élnek.
